Reinforced concrete occupies a leading position in the construction industry and is used more often in comparison with other materials. Currently, high quality requirements are imposed on building materials, such as high strength for reinforced concrete structures. It is necessary to ensure a long service life of a structure and its maintenance should be as simple as possible. When considering construction, it is also necessary to take into account a few of the main problems of our time in all areas of human activity, namely environmental pollution, energy saving and reduction of natural resource consumption. Reinforced concrete is a fairly durable material. The use of reinforced concrete is predominantly wastefree. Therefore, most of the modern residential and industrial buildings and structures are built using reinforced concrete structures made of high strength concrete. It is also widely used as a universal building material: its use in recent decades has been most rational in the construction of columns of high-rise buildings due to the high compressive strength of the material.
