Open Day for Doctoral Students – Research Consultation & Thesis Development

Dear Doctoral Students,

We are pleased to invite you to the (not mandatory) Open Day-Open Questions, which will take place on
March 1, 2026
⏰ 10:00am – 2.00pm
Eisenstadt, Campus 2, Austria (Floor 4)

This Open Day is designed to support you at different stages of your doctoral journey by offering individual and group consultations, focused on the successful development of your PhD research and thesis.

During the session, you will have the opportunity to:

• Discuss research methodology and research design
• Receive guidance on statistics and data analysis
• Consult on research proposals
• Discuss the structure and key steps of your doctoral thesis
• Discuss publication strategies, journals, and authorship
• Get advice on conference participation and academic networking
• Clarify expectations regarding doctoral progress and milestones.

The session will be hosted by: Prof. Dr. Sc. Senad Bećirović and Univ-Prof. Dr. Sc- DDr.h.c.  Irena Zavrl, PhD.

Whether you are at the beginning of your doctoral studies or in a more advanced phase, this Open Day offers a valuable opportunity to receive expert feedback, clarify open questions, and plan the next steps of your academic work in a supportive and collegial environment.
