Međunarodna konferencija 'Razvoj demokracije', u čijoj suorganizaciji sudjeluje i vanjski suradnik Sveučilišta Sjever prof.dr. sc. Anđelko Milardović, održat će se u Zagrebu od 27. do 29. travnja 2015. godine. Konferencija će se baviti temama shvaćanja razvoja demokracije u različitim okruženjima, utjecajem demokracije na različite ekonomske sredine s primjerima pozitivne prakse, sigurnošću kao jamcem demokracije i stabilnosti te koegzistencijom identiteta, a označit će početak dugoročnog projekta “Potencijali Podunavske regije” (PDR), koji će se u narednim godinama usredotočiti na pitanja demokratskog razvoja, ekonomske integracije, sigurnosti i koegzistencije različitih identiteta.
