Vladimir Šimović dobio je poziv od globalnog izvršnog predsjednika svjetske APCEO (Asia-Pacific CEO Association, Worldwide) gosp. Zheng Xiongwei-a., za izlaganje o inovacijama u znanosti i industrijama na skupu GELS 2015 (the 4th Global Economic Leaders Summit) i naskupu 10th China-NorthEast Asia EXPO, a koji se odvija u sklopu iste manifestacije. Prof. dr.sc. d.h.c Vladimir Šimović predstavio je naše Sveučilište Sjever te mogućnosti međunarodne znanstvene i stručne suradnje sa njihovim Sveučilištima i drugim organizacijama.

Macquarie Sveučilište iz Sydneya, Australija, danas je objavilo program stipendiranja u vrijednosti do $1,000,000 australskih dolara, nudeći pet stipendija hrvatskim kandidatima doktorantima, da provedu istraživanja u Australiji.
