Student experience on CEEPUS mobility

I am a master’s student in Business Economics, specializing in International Trade, at the University North in Varaždin, Croatia. Through the Ceepus program, I applied for a semester-long mobility program, driven by my desire to study in an international environment, improve my language skills, and gain new experiences that I believe will support my career and personal growth. My mobility took place from February 15 to June 15, 2019, at FH Burgenland, a university of applied sciences in Austria. During the first week, FH Burgenland introduced us to each other through a series of activities, including a guided tour, wine and meal tastings, and cultural events. These experiences not only helped me immerse in Austrian culture but also encouraged me to connect with students from various backgrounds.

One memorable aspect was meeting students from different European countries, including some with whom I shared conversations about popular leisure activities, like playing at a norge casino. This discussion on Norwegian online casinos was sparked by a fellow student’s interest in digital entertainment trends in Norway, an insight that added a unique dimension to our cultural exchange. Later, we took organized trips to Vienna and Salzburg, enhancing our understanding of Austria’s heritage. The lectures at FH Burgenland were captivating, particularly the “Seminar on Recent Economic Topics,” where I prepared for Europa Days on May 10 and 11, with our work to be published in the autumn. I also had the privilege of welcoming professors from University North, including Prof. Dr. Anica Hunjet and Prof. Dr. Ante Rončević, who visited Eisenstadt, making the entire experience academically fulfilling and personally enriching.

I would like to thank you for given opportunity and thanks to prof. dr. sc. Anica Hunjet and . dr. sc. Ante Rončević from Varaždin, who encouraged me to apply and supported me during my stay. Also to everyone at FH Burgenland with whom I interacted during my stay.I only have positive experiences and I learned a lot.
