Dear prospective incoming students!

Thank you for your interest in studying at University North! On this site we have put together some basic information to help you prepare for your stay. University North ,situated in Varaždin and Koprivnica, towns in north-west Croatia, is the youngest public university in the country. With more than 3 000 students enrolled, the University provides 17 practice-oriented study programmes. As a modern and future-oriented higher education institution, the knowledge gained at University North will provide an excellent basis for starting an independent career.

Before your mobility period

Before arrival, participants shall obtain visa for entering Croatia (if required). Overview of visa requirements:http://www.mvep.hr/en/consular-information/visas/visa-requirements-overview/

Participants shall also regulate personal travel and health insurance policy that will be valid in Croatia during their stay.

General information about preparation of stay in Croatia will be provided to each participant by the UNIN IR Office.

During your mobility period

After arrival, within 2 working days, each incoming participant shall:

o Report the arrival to the nearest Police Department (if having private accommodation)

o Obtain the Personal Identification Number in Croatia (so called OIB)

o send or hand-in all above documents to the UNIN IR Office

You can request changes to the Learning Agreement only in exceptional circumstances and within the deadline decided by your sending and receiving institutions. You must ensure that these changes are validated by both the sending and receiving institutions / enterprise within a two-week period after the request has been submitted and keep copies of their approval. Any request to extend the duration of the mobility period must be submitted at least one month before the end of the originally planned period.

After mobility end

After mobility end, participants will be issued certificate of attendance by the University North.
