The success of our professors at the International Scientific Conference in Venice

WASET organized a new scientific conference –  19th International Conference on Extending Database Technology “ICEDT 2017". It took place from 16 to 17 February 2017 in Venice, Italy with the aim to bring together leading academic scientists and researchers to exchange and share their experiences and research results. The Conference provided an interdisciplinary platform for researchers where they had a possibility to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends and challenges they face in the field of Extending Database Technology.

Vice-rector for scientific and artistic work and international cooperation of the University North, prof. Ph. D. d. h. c. Vladimir Šimovic was actively involved in the work of the Conference. He opened the conference, led the first section and presented a scientific paper "Standard Languages for Creating a Database to Display Financial Statements on a Web Application" written in collaboration with Ph. D. Matija Varga and doc. Ph. D. Predrag Oreški. As the best paper of the Conference the paper was awarded with a certificate "Certificate of best paper award".
